Leading Edge Connectors

Inexpensive connectors are a hard plastic/vinyl which can be too soft in warm weather (rods fall out) and too hard in cold weather (difficult to insert rods). They also have a tendency to split and crack. Premium leading edge connectors are a soft rubber/vinyl that are a snug fit for years. One brand, APA, are even tapered for easy alignment when inserting and removing spreaders. SFD and JACO also make premium connectors.
