Ocean Shores Kites Fun Fly~in August 2011
The fun fly weather was great other than a lack of wind on saturday. For those who were able to stick around, Sunday the wind weather and beach were awesome! Once again to everyone who attended this event, we thank you dearly, because the flyers are the event. We are still learning a lot which will benifit us for furture events. We welcome your input as attendees even if what you have to say is not nice. We can not learn from compliments. We have recieved some photos, and will gladly welcome more.

Ocean Shores International Kite Challenge June 4-5, 2011
Our event was blessed with beautiful sunshine, great wind, and smiling kiteflyers from around the globe. Our featured flyer Ray Bethell, from Canada, awed spectators by flying 3 different dual line sport kites at the same time. Phil McConnachie, from Australia, flew many one of a kind single line kites as well as put on a show of kite surfing for the crowds. Team Suspended Animation, with members from around the northwest, came to fly their giant show kites, and we had a great turnout for the competition. There were participants from first time competitors to Masters Class. The last minute awards dinner and raffle at Red Genie Pizza was packed. Standing room only, we had a great time thanks to everyone who attended.
